Born and raised in Nepal—a small but vibrant country known for its culture and resilience—I moved to the U.S. after finishing high school to pursue new opportunities and continue my education. I recently completed my Associate of Science degree, and during my job search, I was looking for something that not only matched my interests but would also help me grow both personally and professionally. That’s when I found my role as a Recruiter at UCG, and it’s been one of the most rewarding steps in my journey so far.
Joining UCG has been an incredibly positive experience. The people here are extremely supportive, the environment is friendly and motivating, and I learn something new every day. I’ve even had the chance to go out into the field on my days off to learn more about business operations firsthand—which has really helped broaden my perspective.
As a young professional, I’m focused on improving my communication and recruiting skills so I can be even more helpful to the new candidates I work with. One of my long-term goals is to open my own company someday, and I believe the experience I’m gaining here at UCG is laying the perfect foundation for that dream.
Outside of work, I love to travel and explore new places. Moving to the U.S. was definitely a cultural shock at first, but over time, I’ve grown to love learning about different cultures, cuisines, and ways of life. That curiosity and openness is something I bring into my work as a recruiter, too—I enjoy connecting with people from all backgrounds and helping them find opportunities that can change their lives, just like mine did.
